Tracing & Electronic Account Listing
Our collectors have access to skip tracing software systems by Metro
Search, Accurint, “DART” by CSC Credit Service, Accolaid and PhoneDisc
PowerFinder. In various circumstances, we use credit bureau services,
county clerks, contact references and landlords to locate the debtor
who cannot be found at his or her last known address. TAB also uses its
own database, which contains more than 1,000,000 names and addresses
referred by other clients.
TAB can list accounts
and report payments electronically, and currently employs this
technology with many of its clients. TAB has the capability to
adapt its system to work with almost any means of data transmission.
We report to the following
credit bureaus every two weeks: Experian, Transunion and CSC Credit
Services.
FDCPA
(Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) &
FCRA (Fair Credit
Reporting Act) Regulations
Our software allows clients to transfer all information required
by FCRA regulations. TAB’s clients and collectors are consistently
made aware of these requirements. Any account not containing
all information required
by the FCRA will not be submitted to the Credit Bureau.
Every collector at TAB
receives comprehensive computer-based training on the FDCPA and
is required to pass a test before beginning collection activities.
Additional training is provided through area educational institutions
and American Collectors Association (ACA) seminars. To ensure compliance
with the FDCPA, TAB systematically monitors collector phone calls.
Hardware & Software
TAB utilizes a high-powered IBM AS-400 server combined with the Quantrax
Intellec software collection system to collect on accounts quickly
and efficiently. Our collectors also use CallPro Auto and Power
Dialing equipment to further expedite collection efforts. To
increase the number of calls collectors make, TAB also employs
an Access Predictive Dialer.
